Nigeria’s Dream Team VI clinched the 2015 U23 AFCON title Saturday night after they defeated Algeria 2-1 in the final.
In the meantime, the team’s three foreign-based professionals – skipper
Azubuike Okechukwu
(Turkey), Junior Ajayi (Tunisia) and Taiwo Awoniyi
(Germany) – already returned to their bases immediately Saturday’s
final.
The country as well as Algeria and South Africa will now represent Africa at next year’s Rio Olympics.
