Five Year Break At End Of World Tour Says Adele

Adele is set to take a lengthy break from music at the end of her 'Adele Live 2016' world tour, to concentrate on being a mother to her son Angelo.
Having released her long-awaited comeback album 25 just four months ago to stunning sales and masses of critical acclaim, Adele is reportedly set to disappear again just as quickly, with reports that she’s planning a five year break from music at the end of her current world tour.

The 27 year old singer is nearing the end of the British leg of her massive, 105-date world tour, which will take in a headline slot at this summer’s Glastonbury Festival and which is due to end in Mexico City on November 15th.
However, she’s reportedly keen to concentrate on being a mother, and doesn’t want to miss her 3 year old son Angelo growing up by constantly being in a recording-release-touring cycle, and is planning another half a decade out of the limelight, according to a new report.
A source close to the singer told The Sun on Saturday (March 26th): “She has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album. She’s still very new to motherhood and doesn’t want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear.”
Angelo, born in 2012, is her first child with her partner (and rumoured fiancé) Simon Konecki, and although her music has brought her massive fame and fortune, she recently said that she considers motherhood to be her greatest accomplishment.
“In between my albums I popped out a baby. It is the greatest thing I ever did. Now I have complete purpose. I want him to be proud of me and understand why I do this.”

On the other hand, fans at her gig in Belfast last month – the very first gig of the current Adele Live 2016 tour – were teased with the possibility of new music from her by the end of the year. “There may be a new song towards the end of the shows,” she told the crowd. “I haven't written anything yet, though!”
